[mnet-devel] end user test

Artimage performed that gold standard of user experience testing: sitting a 
normal person down in front of the computer and telling them to "go to 
mnet.sf.net".

The user gave up before downloading the binary package!

Art took notes about what went wrong, and will fix it shortly.
