[mnet-devel] v0.6.1 branch is in feature-freeze

No new entries can be added to the "v0.6.1" group of the tracker [1] unless they 
are important bugs in the current v0.6.1 release candidate.  There are several 
issues which are considered "unimportant" bugs and have already been bumped from 
"v0.6.1" group to "v0.6.2" group.  I want v0.6.1 to get out the door as soon as 
possible and for us to start concentrating on the next release.

As soon as the tracker's "v0.6.1" group is empty then v0.6.1 will be officially 
stable.  At that point we'll change the flag in the version from "UNSTABLE" to 
"STABLE".

Then, once the Build Managers upload the three most widely used binary 
packages [2], I'll send out the Release Announcement.

It would be really nice if Build Managers would build packages right now to be 
unstable pre-release packages for better testing.
