[mnet-devel] idea for release schedule for "next version after v0.6.1"

I propose that we all happily hack on _new for 4 weeks, until Mnet Hack 
Day, March 16, 2003 (Irby's "2 years old" birthday), and only then do we 
take stock and make a plan for the next release, including target date 
for freeze, major disruptive features to include, version number, who 
does what, etc.

If we do this, then the next release will come out no earlier than about 
5 weeks after the "release plan day", so it will be a total of at least 
9 weeks between releases.
