[mnet-devel] fec performance: not disk bound?

I ran fectest.py on a 64 MB file in a reiserfs partition, then the same file 
after it was cp'ed to a tmpfs partition.

Same result each time: it took 10.5 seconds to complete fectest.  (Real wall-
clock time, as reported by `time'.)
