[mnet-devel] fec performance measured -- time-to-completion

We can clearly see that doubling the size of the file causes the time-to-
completion to change by *more* than a factor of 2.

I believe the "reading scattered words out of the file" phenomenon explains 
this.  Next test: the same as this test, but from a tmpfs (RAM-disk).
