[mnet-devel] Solving some communications problems.

We have known for quite some time that using irc as our comm channel was
dangerous. (Ironically, we spoke about this problem on the irc channel.)
The fact that it has actually come to bite is unfortunate.

I can't contribute as to what is going on since I haven't been around for
the past month or so. As I said in a recent email work has me busier than
normal.

Zooko just mentioned he has to do paying work. And I'm guessing that
others are in similar situations.

Which brings me to my question. How bad is it? What I really mean is, it
sounds like some people fear the project will sink. Why? There have been
other times when everyone took some time off. Why is this time different?
This is not a rhetorical question. (Since I'm not on irc, I'm a bit out of
the loop right now. )
