[mnet-devel] potential commercial user of EGTP

I talked to the CEO of an Internet startup here in Toronto. He's considering
using EGTP for its firewall-bypassing.

This is why we originally farmed EGTP out into a separate sf.net project. We
later pulled it back in because (a) nobody had expressed interest in using it,
and (b) we don't know how to manage source code of separate projects. CVS?
src tarballs? Tell the person compiling to go find the appropriate version
himself?

Putting it into the same CVS module as Mnet simplified that problem, but we
still have to solve that problem for all of the *other* libraries that Mnet
depends on.

In all likelihood this particular Internet startup will choose not to use EGTP
for one reason or another. But someone else might choose to use it, for
firewall bypassing or for encryption, and it would be nice if they could use
it as a library separate from Mnet.
