[mnet-devel] v0.6.2: notes on libdb and w32 port

Arno says there is some small problem with libdb on w32.  I tried running 
cvsinstall.sh on cygwin, and was sad to see that it doesn't compile.  It used 
to, but I upgraded to the current versions of cygwin tools, and I suspect that 
libdb 3.3.11 is incompatible with the new autoconf/libtool tools.

Maybe this is a good time to upgrade the old v0.6.2 branch to the current 
libdb and pybsddb.  The required change to our Python source is trivial, as 
has already been discovered on the v0.7 branch -- you just add 
db.DB_AUTO_COMMIT to the constructor flags.
