I want to apologize for this comment, I have just been feeling a bit 
curmudgeonly today after actually spending time walking over the "what 
we have or had" list and the realizing how long mnet has languished in 
its screwed-up state.  The fact that we seem to be continuously 
inventing new problems to solve is also getting to be annoying, but 
that is just a natural tendency I guess...  The real question I seem to 
be trying to figure out an answer for is why is it that wheels keep 
getting re-invented here?  Is this a terminal condition or can anyone 
think of a reasonable solution to this problem?
