[mnet-devel] EGTP Evaluation

Hi Guys,
   Over the past couple of weeks, my employer has been doing a 
comparative evaluation of Mnet's "Evil Genius Transport Layer" as a 
possible transport layer for a networked application we're writing.  
Although we ended up going with one of the other software packages, 
we'd like to thank everyone who took the time to answer our questions.

   EGTP has lots of neat features, but on close inspection it turns out 
that a true P2P model would be wrong for our application.  That is to 
say, we'll get a better fit with a simpler client / server model.
