I haven't seen such a thing.

I don't think so.  <nw31m> has sent and received many messages with <33bnp>.
Here's from my current log file.  The log began at:

Every fifteen minutes, the node loads another bootpage.  More often if it is
having trouble reaching any metatrackers.
