[Mnet-devel] Two "Peer" classes

this is from IRC:

<baka> the thing about two "class Peer" is a little annoying.
<baka> (and for one its Peer.peerId and for the other Peer.id !!1!)

Why two Peer classes?  Is there a plan to merge them?
