No, I removed them entirely!  Now the only difference between CVS and 
darcs versions is the extremely long tag name that includes 
"FROMCVSWORLD" or "FROMDARCSWORLD" in it.

What is the alternative?  Subversion?

I have seen at least half a dozen open source projects complaining 
about their Subversion server being broken in the last month.  Also, I 
got Subversion commit privileges for the Shtoom project [1], but when I 
tried to commit it gave me errors because there are spaces in the 
filenames.

I'm waiting to hear from Myers about way to get you, Arno, write 
permissions to the Mnet darcs repositories.  Maybe that would be good 
enough for you.

Alternately, maybe my new "CVS<->darcs" gateway that I created will 
turn out to be so easy to use that I am happy to do all synchronization 
from CVS world to darcs world myself...
