[p2p-hackers] peer2peer voip , any opensource applications or development ?

hi there,

I am reading the [Freedombox-discuss] list and  one of the goals of  
the freedombox
is a " peer 2 peer communication system"  (SIP ? )  like skype for  
example.

The the last guy i remember talking about peer 2 peer teleophony
he called it , "open skype" was  http://www.itojun.org  , God rest his  
soul.

Is there any active devolopment / sources / code ?  ( C,C#,C++ )
