So, in one message someone expresses surprise
that certain fairly simple ideas from Arch didn't
"catch on" [1]

In another is a defensive but not particularly
responsive discussion of git. [2]

It goes on like that.   All too familiar.  The irony
is too much for me to take.

Yeah, sorry to have bugged the list.

[1] As far as I know, the Subversion project will
     be turning attention to the conversations I
     tried to start with them once they get 1.0
     out the door.   Well, that's the last I heard.

[2] It's apparently not about reconciling views,
     so much about being connected to the project
     that defeats other projects.   Not my kind of game.
